  • This Merwin & Hulbert single action revolver is one of the iconic 6 shooters of the Old West.

    It is an 1877, 44-40 open top- first model with punch-dot factory

    engraving and engraved stag vignette on the receiver.

    Square butt with beautiful caramel patina ivory grips and factory lanyard ring.

    7" barrel

    Serial #14181

    Retains about 75% nickel

    No visible repairs or alterations.

    This gun was carried and well used but well cared for too.

    It is very similar to the gun Wyatt Earp carried in Tombstone.
